Hotel Du Vin Brighton
Situated in the Lanes conservation area, the conversion and extension of Nos 3 to 5 and No 6 Ship Street to create a selection of buildings so linked and interconnected that they form a mid-range boutique hotel.

The buildings had suffered from the ravages of time, neglect and inappropriate internal modifications. The end product relies upon the character of the existing buildings and their location within the Brighton urban/ seafront location. This
is another example of Hotel du Vin 'rescuing' a significant historical building in a sensitive way. The architectural eccentricity, gothic revival and mock Tudor, adds considerably to the Ship Street scene.
